Once you’ve installed the Discount Ray app, you’ll need to add the Discount Ray app block to your Shopify theme to display the discount table on your product pages. Without adding the app block, the discount table won’t be visible on your storefront.
If the app block is missing, you’ll see a warning message in the Discount Ray admin panel, letting you know that the app block needs to be added to show the discount on your product page.
Steps to Add the App Block: #
Step 1:
Click the “Add app block” button.
Step 2:
After clicking the button, the app block will automatically be added to your theme. You’ll be redirected to the default product page section in Shopify, where you can confirm the app block has been added.
Step 3:
Drag the DR – Display Discount section to your desired position on the product page. Once you’ve adjusted the block, click the “Save” button to apply the changes.
By following these steps, the Discount Ray app block will be added to your theme. Any discount sets you create will now be visible to your customers on the product page.
Navigating Back to the Discount Ray Admin Panel #
After adding the app block, follow these steps to navigate back to the Discount Ray admin panel from where you can create a new discount rule set and explore other options of the app.
Step 4:
If the Discount Ray app block is already added, click the “Exit” button. You’ll find this button in the top-left corner of your theme editor. Clicking it will take you back to the Shopify admin panel.
Step 5:
From the Shopify admin panel, navigate to the Apps section and select the Discount Ray app from the list.
This will take you to the Discount Ray admin panel. On the left side of the screen, you’ll find the navigation panel, where you can create new discounts and adjust various settings.
