DiscountRay is a Shopify discount app for creating quantity discounts, tiered pricing, personalized offers, variant-specific pricing, and other discount campaigns. Install the app from the Shopify App Store, complete the initial setup, enable the DiscountRay app embed, and then create your first discount set.
Before You Start: Make sure you are logged in to the Shopify store where you want to install DiscountRay and have permission to install apps. If you select a paid plan, you also need permission to approve app charges.
How to Install DiscountRay on Shopify
Step#1 Find DiscountRay in the Shopify App Store
Go to the Shopify App Store, search for DiscountRay, open the app listing, and click Install.
Step#2 Review and Install the App
Shopify will show the store data and permissions DiscountRay needs to access. Review the information, then click Install to authorize DiscountRay for your store.
Step#3 Choose a DiscountRay Plan
Choose the DiscountRay plan that includes the features you need.
Step#4 Approve the Subscription if Required
If you select a paid DiscountRay plan, review and approve the app subscription in Shopify. If you choose the free Starter plan, a paid subscription approval is not required.
Step#5 Complete the Initial DiscountRay Setup
Click Continue to finish the initial setup and open the DiscountRay dashboard.
Step#6 Enable the DiscountRay App Embed
From the DiscountRay dashboard, check the App Embed status and click the option to enable it if it is inactive. Shopify will open the theme settings where you can enable the DiscountRay app embed.
After enabling it, return to DiscountRay. The App Embed status should update to Active automatically.
Step#7 Create Your First Discount
Once the setup and App Embed are complete, create your first DiscountRay discount from the dashboard.

Step#8 Verify the DiscountRay Setup
Return to the DiscountRay dashboard and confirm that the App Embed status is Active. After creating a discount, open an eligible product page and test the offer to confirm that the discount applies correctly. If you added the DiscountRay app block, also confirm that the discount table appears in the expected position.
Common Issues
I can't install DiscountRay
Make sure you are logged in to the correct Shopify store and have permission to install and manage apps.
I can't approve the DiscountRay subscription
If you selected a paid plan, make sure your Shopify account has permission to approve app charges.
The App Embed still shows as inactive
Confirm that the DiscountRay app embed is enabled in your Shopify theme settings. Then return to the DiscountRay dashboard and check the App Embed status again.
My discount is active, but the discount table is not showing on the product page
Make sure the DiscountRay app block has been added to the product page template and that the discount applies to the product you are viewing.
