🔧 Update – Enhanced Personalized Discount Functionality

We’ve made a minor fix to improve the personalized discount feature.
Now, when combining multiple discounts, everything works seamlessly as expected.

Streamlined Setup & Enhanced App Embed Experience

We’ve made several improvements to simplify your setup process:

1. New Setup Progress Panel

• A progress panel now shows the three steps: installation, app embed, and creating discount sets.

• Each completed step gets a tick mark, and the next step expands with details.

2. App Embed Status Panel

• A dedicated panel shows if the app embed is enabled or disabled, with quick access to live support.

3. Improved App Embed Activation

• The App Embed status will now automatically update to “Active” when you return to the app, without needing a reload.

These updates make your setup quicker and easier, with streamlined progress tracking and faster access to support!

Improved App Embed Process & Setup Tutorial

We’re excited to announce two key updates to make your experience with DiscountRay even better:

1. Automatic Embed Status Update

Previously, after merchants enabled the App Embed from the Shopify settings, they had to reload the app or navigate away to see the updated status.
Now, no more reloading required!
Once you enable the App Embed, the status automatically updates to “Embed active” when you return to the app, making the process seamless and instant.

2. New Tutorial Video for Setting Up Discounts

A tutorial video has been added to the “Create New” page of the app. This guide will walk you through the process of setting up discounts, helping you get started quickly and efficiently with DiscountRay’s powerful features.

What this means for you:

• No more reloading to see the embed status.

• Step-by-step guidance for setting up your first discount rules.

Whitelabel Storefront is now avaialable from the Free Plan

We’ve made an improvement to enhance your storefront experience — even on the Free plan. Previously, stores using DiscountRay on the free plan displayed a “Powered by DiscountRay” badge on the storefront. We’ve now removed this badge entirely.

What this means for you:

• Your storefront stays fully brand-focused, with no third-party branding.

• You can launch and test discount strategies using DiscountRay without visual distractions.
