Information we collect

We collect and maintain certain information you provide directly to us when you install the application on your store, subscribe to a plan, or use the service.

• Your personal and company name, telephone number, email address and postal address.
• Information about your store and its configuration, as needed to operate the app.
• Information about your store’s visitors that the app processes in order to apply discounts.
• Any other information you choose to provide, for example when you contact support.

How we use information

We use the information above to provide and operate the service, to apply the discounts you configure, to respond to support requests, and to maintain and improve the app.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website sets a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work: one that remembers your language, one that records your cookie choices, and one that records which consent rules apply in your region. Your light or dark theme preference is kept in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie. None of these identify you.

Our live chat (Tawk.to) sets its own cookies, including one that recognises you if you come back to a conversation. Nothing from Tawk.to is loaded until you open the chat: the chat button is ours, and pressing it is what fetches the widget. You can switch live chat off entirely under “Cookie settings”, and in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it is off until you allow it.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics — “_ga” and “_ga_…”) are handled differently depending on where you are. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland they are not set at all unless you accept them, and nothing is loaded from Google before you do. Elsewhere they are switched on by default and you can turn them off. Either way, you can change or withdraw your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer, and we ask again every six months.

We do not use cookies for advertising, and advertising signals are permanently disabled in our analytics configuration. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, though some features may not work as intended.

Sharing information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf in order to run the service, and where we are required to do so by law.

How long we keep information

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to receive it in a portable form, and to restrict or object to how we process it.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@discountray.com. We support our merchants in responding to requests from their own customers.

International transfers

Changes in business ownership

If all or part of the business is sold or control is transferred, data relevant to the part transferred will be transferred with it. The new owner may use it for the purposes for which it was originally supplied, under the terms of this policy, and the confidentiality of personal information will be preserved.

Children’s privacy

The service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date shown at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will make that clear.
